Loreto Community School 2: 1 Mulroy College
Well done and congratulations to our senior boys who defeated Mulroy College in the second round of the Ulster Senior Boys.
The match got off to a slow start with but half way through the first half Loreto’s Oisin Mc Groarty secured a goal. The first half ended soon after, and the second half began. Loreto came back on the pitch with a good attitude and secured another goal into the back corner of the net from Loreto’s Callum Cullen. Near the end of the second half Mulroy started to make a comeback with a goal from Patrick Mc Elwee, but it wasn’t enough to secure them a win leaving Loreto with their second win.
An outstanding performance in centre mid awarded Shaun Coffey Man of the Match.
