During the final term of their third year, students are informed about choices to be made in Senior Cycle. Parents are invited to an “options meeting” at which the various course choices are explained.
Transition Year is an optional year which includes both academic and non-academic subjects. Students are assigned to class groups in a way which ensures gender balance and mixed ability.
The range of subjects varies from year to year depending on availability of staff.
