Congratulations to Maria Loughrey (Leaving Cert Class 2022 of Loreto Community School, Milford) on receiving an award as a UCD Entrance Scholar on Tuesday at a ceremony to mark the occasion.
UCD Entrance Scholars are first-year students recognised for their academic achievement who have achieved 560 points or more in their Leaving Certificate (or equivalent second-level examination). These awards are part of a range of UCD initiatives put in place to recognise exceptional students.
Maria is studying Pschology in UCD . In what surely must be a record , Maria is the third member of her family to receive an Entrance Award following in the footsteps of her siblings Liam and Hannah. A great achievement and heartiest congratulations to parents Dan and Mary too.
